Abstract

The impact of technological advancements on global security from the perspective of classical realism is analysed in this article. The article explores how advanced and powerful nations like China, the US, and Russia are using advanced technologies to reshape strategic competition and power dynamics. The rapid evolution of digital infrastructure, robotics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing established security paradigms but is also creating new threats and opportunities. By examining these changes, the paper emphasises the strategic importance of technological superiority in projecting influence and bolstering national security. The incorporation of these advanced technologies into military strategies signals a shift from traditional warfare tactics to a more complex security environment where both physical and digital threats coexist.
